- You can earn
money.
- If you have a
web site, you may already have a
links page. Why not create a link to my sites and earn a commission?
You're may already be sending email (or possibly a newsletter). Why not
add a link or two and earn a commission?
- You can check
your traffic, sales and
commission statistics at any time.
- All you do is
send me the potential customers.
I do the follow up, run the credit cards, ship the orders, write the
web copy etc.
- These are high
quality products, I work hard to
make sure they continue to get better.
Q: How much do you pay?
A: The payout depends on the item, how much it
costs me to produce and how many you sell etc. I prefer to work with people with
whom I've had a conversation, so please contact me via email or
phone and I'll explain everything you'd like to know.
Q: How does the affiliate
program work?
A: You create links that
include your affiliate information and put them on your web site, in
your newsletter or in your email. When a potential customer clicks on
one of your coded affiliate links and comes to one of my sites, a
cookie (cookies are data stored on the user's computer, ready for
future access) gets placed on their computer. When they buy from me, my
ecommerce system notes the cookie and credits you with commission from
the sale.
Q: Does it cost anything to
sign up?
A: Nope. Joining is free and
linking is easy!
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Click on an
Affiliate
Sign-Up link and fill in your information. You will
be directed to a page with all sorts of things to help you produce
income through promoting my sites. You'll also receive a welcome email
with comprehensive instructions to help you get started.
Q: How do I know if I've sold
anything?
A: You can log in to your
affiliate program at any time. Inside, you'll find a comprehensive
statistics package.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: I'll mail you a check! I
may institute PayPal payments at a future time, but for now I'll mail
you a check.
Q: Is the system perfect?
A: No. Sometimes people dump
their cookies (most people don't even know how to do this). I do have a back-up
system in place to track IP addresses in case cookies were dumped. Also,
someone could buy a new computer or buy a product from me on a
different computer than they originally visited me with. Or, they could
come through your affiliate link and then later through another
affiliate's link. This system (or any other affiliate system) will not
work 100% of the time but it will accurately track the majority of
sales.
I do my best to ensure that
affiliates get commissions they are owed. Affiliate sales are very
important to me and I want you to be motivated and succeed.
Q: If a customer goes to my
web site and then another of your affiliate's web sites, then buys from
you who gets the credit for the sale?
A: The last affiliate gets the
credit.
Q: How long do the cookies
last?
A: The cookie duration not set. That means that as
long as the customer has the cookie and buys from me, you'll get credit for the sale.
Q: When do you pay?
A: I check commissions on the
15th of each month and will get checks out within a day or two of that.
Q: How do I know I can trust
you?
A: Well, there's an element of
trust involved. You can check your affiliate statistics at any time and
see if you're owed any money. If I didn't pay my affiliates, they'd
stop promoting me! Also, my name address and phone number are easily found.

Q: Do you have a payout
minimum?
A: I wait
until your commissions get to $9 before I send out a check.
If you have less than that and
want a check, just send me an email and I'll send it out to you on the
next pay period.
Q: Can I buy one of those
"targeted" email lists and send advertisements for your stuff to 2
million people?
A: No. Spamming will get you
banned! If I get a bunch of spam complaints about an affiliate, I'll
cancel your account and you will forfeit all your commissions. If you
are great at site promotion or search engine placement, feel free to
build a site based around the subjects I promote and direct the traffic
to me - it could be very lucrative.
Q: What about returns and
fraud?
A: If a customer returns a
product or the transaction turns out to be fraudulent the commission
will be subtracted from your affiliate account.
Q: Why do you need my personal
information - name address etc.
A: I have to know where to
send the check! Also, if you live in the U.S. and earn more than the
I.R.S. minimum during a year, I'll need your Social Security # or Tax
ID number as I am legally required to report it.
If you have any questions I
haven't answered here, feel free to contact me through the contact link at the
