Let's do some numbers...

Let's suppose you sell one client session recording per week and it brings you a $25 profit. If you work 50 weeks per year, that's $1,250.00 in extra revenue.

Now let's suppose you sell one weight loss support system (a set of CDs) per week. It has a $72 profit. That's $3,600.00 in brand new money. You've just added $4,850.00 to your income!

Now, seven times per week you get calls from people who gasp at your session fee. You sell one out of seven your "I'm too cheap to pay for a session so I bought this CD to get over my problem" program with a $28.54 profit. Another $1,427.00 to your bank account (later on, I'll tell you how I made $1,427 in 64 minutes with self-produced products).

Now look at these numbers. I'm talking about selling one item per week of each of these products. What if you were able to sell three, or five, or ten? You could add tens of thousands to your income. Now, I can't say how much you'd really sell, these are just examples. If you're the worst salesperson in the world, just leave some copies of your products where your clients can see them. Let them ask you how to buy them!

Now, we've barely scratched the surface with ways to add revenue to your practice. We haven't even covered the most lucrative strategy -  marketing to your already existing clients. This is money that's laying on the table, waiting to be picked up. Don't miss out on it.

2) Give Talks, Classes, Lectures and Speeches

It's difficult to break into the paid public speaking market. It's incredibly easy to get non-paying speaking gigs however. But why would you want to give speeches for free???

The first time I gave a talk with the idea of selling products, I sold about $300 worth of product. The second time I sold $700. The third time, I spoke for a group of about 26 people for 45 minutes and then worked the sales table for 19 minutes. I sold $1427. Not bad for an hour and four minutes work!

So, schedule a free talk at your local library, rotary club or community center (make sure they'll allow you to sell products after the talk). It's also a great way to make a product. I'll show you a simple way to record those talks and get the ball rolling with your new income stream.

3) Internet Sales

Several years ago, I was relaxing in Sedona, Arizona and I got a call from a client. He had a problem he needed to take care of immediately and there I was out of town. I began to wonder if I could work with him via phone and that's when it hit me...

"What is the size of the market of people who could drive to me compared to those who could call me?"

I live in the Seattle area and I figure roughly a million people are within driving distance. The number of people that could call me is several thousand times that figure! My excitement quickly turned to disappointment as I realized the difficulty of working with issues via phone as well as the legal problems working with people in various states (and countries).

Eventually it hit me, "What about selling products?" I could take the same stuff I do every day with clients and turn it into products with millions of potential customers! That's millions of people I could help too. I went home and quickly made some products around a specific client issue. Years later, those products still generate an average of $1243.95 per month - with almost no additional work on my part!

The orders come in, I don't even ship them out myself anymore. Every once-in-a-while, I have to call my manufacturer and tell them to make more, that's about all I have to do.

Now, that's just one product. What if you have several? I have one that's on track to generate $6802.50 this year, another that's set to make $10,317.00 and so on... When you add up all the products, the money is not bad, especially for the amount of work I do. The more products I create, the more money I make. When I want to give myself a raise, I make another product.

And let me say once again, it takes almost no time or effort to run this part of my business once the product is made.
